Some Bunny Tips Empty
PostSubject: Some Bunny Tips   Some Bunny Tips EmptyWed May 20, 2009 8:05 am

I try to take as good care of all my animals as I can, but sometimes that can be really expensive and time consuming. Here are a few things that I do to make my bunnies lives better and mine cheaper:
Since I dont use any chemicals, pesticides or herbicides on my lawn, when we mow I rake it up and feed it to the bunnies.
I have a wire rabbit cage that I can set on te grass to let them eat, but I make sure that half of the cage is shade so that the bunnies don't overheat and possibly die.
I grow many vegitables in the garden that the bunnies like to eat like carrots, beets, corn and radishes so that for most of the summer I don't have to buy feed and they love them!
In the winter I have heated waterers for the rabbits so that I don't have to thaw them out everyday and the bunnies stay nice and hydrated.
My bunnies live in a large outdoor pen that is 6 by 8 feet so that they can dig and run around. They will soon have a larger cage that they can graze in aswell.
